Cannabis Tea
Is there a such thing as Cannabis tea? While cannabis has had its reputations, most medical professionals cannot deny its restorative qualities. Unfortunately, if you aren’t looking to “get high” there’s not a lot that can done with it as far as consumption. However, if you make tea with it, you have a better chance of getting the properties that will help without consuming so much that you are out of capacity to function. This form of therapy has been used for centuries in India and has had no contestants on its fantastic healing properties.
Cannabis tea is an infusion of the herbal wonder with tea and water. The psychoactive properties usually associated with cannabis use are almost null in this case, but the pain relieving qualities are still present. Since the oils in cannabis are not water soluble, the psychoactive properties are not as effective as they could be. Because of its high fat content, if you made your tea with milk instead of water perhaps it would be a different story, so be aware of what you are making your tea with. When making this tea, use an infuser and your favorite kind of tea or add your other herbs to the infuser as well. Also remember to add lots of sugar or honey – good, high grade cannabis can be awfully bitter.
The plans behind using cannabis herbal tea are the same behind using marijuana medicinally for any purpose: There is pain to be relieved and appetites to be scared up for cancer and chemotherapy patients, sleep to be had for insomniacs and stomachs to be settled from the consumption of prescriptions by AIDS patients. The best part is that the qualities imbibed from this brew will not force you into a comatose state like other ways of consuming the product, and can be used daily without the concern of being in a poor state to move about.
